Penhaligon’s Oud de Nil

I am incredibly proud to be given the chance to review another Penhaligon’s perfume. In my first review I talked about the Luna perfume and this time its the Oud de Nil Perfume from the Trade Routes Collection, that transports you to a warm Egyptian land and colourful bazaar

When I unwrapped the tissue paper and saw the beautiful light yellow box with gold branding on the top, I couldn’t wait to lift the lid. The box revealed an elegant clear glass bottle, complemented by a pale pink ribbon, reminding me of clean white robes of billowing sails on The Nile. The scent feels like a cool breeze to complete the setting.

Oud de Nil

The head notes start with rich bergamot and zesty grapefruit, followed by heart notes of rose, jasmine, geranium and fresh but soft orange blossom, fruity but light and totally fresh.

Base notes of powerful oud, papyrus, guaiac wood, resins and amber, the Oud De Nil perfume offers exotic fruits, fresh fragrance, a scent for a strong powerful woman.

Penhaligon’s Trade Route collection features a range of scents from many far away exotic locations allowing you to travel to far away places with one spray of a bottle.

I have definitely become a true Penhaligon’s fan. Their fragrances tell a story and offer the consumer escapism and relaxation.
