Nail Varnish Time Wasting

Pink varnish

Which pink one to choose?

Two pink nail varnish shades

My favourite two

When purchasing a new nail varnish or visiting a salon for a manicure, do you always gravitate towards the same nail shades. I have two shades of nail varnish that I always pick first, nude tones and every shade of pink known to women.

When painting my nails at home I usually have a 10 minute window in my life, normally at about 10.30pm. Based on a planned outfit, I gather all the pink bottles in one hand and then hold them up against the jacket or top in question.

I have spent longer picking the actual nail varnish shade and less time on painting my nails. A beauty salon would have saved me the hassle and its time to enjoy that moment, when that beautiful pink colour hits my bare nails.

Another time wasting problem, is shopping. I spend ages admiring the little colourful bottles, unsure of which ones  I might already own, which pink nail varnish shade I bought last – bright, flamingo, magenta or dusky.

Is this normal behaviour just to achieve a painted nail – how much time do I waste choosing a nail colour?
